MINI CONVERTIBLE TAKES THE AUTO EXPRESS CROWN (AGAIN).

It came. It parked. It conquered. The MINI Convertible rocked up at the Auto Express Awards 2021 before dropping its top and driving off with ‘Convertible of the Year’ Award for an unprecedented fifth time (and its fourth in a row!). We’re all understandably chuffed, and you can see what one of the judges had to say below.

A FUN-TASTIC WIN.

Auto Express Editor Steve Fowler praised the “brilliant British drop-top” for its “compelling blend of fun, value-for-money and wind-in-the-hair thrills.” He went on to say that “[a] recent update has sharpened the MINI’s styling and improved the interior and tech. What remains unchanged, though, is the model’s huge appetite for fun.” Nicely put, Steve. And we’d suggest that, with its legendary go-kart like handling, fun (and ruining your hairstyle) is about the only thing MINI Convertible takes seriously.
